There will be NO horseplay/loud behavior in waiting room, from students or those in lobby-loud disruptive behavior disrupts the dancers in class.
To keep the waiting and viewing area at a minumum for the 2023-24 school year, we ask NO siblings in the waiting room at this time. Please respect the parents that are viewing their dancer. If a
sibling must wait, we ask that they are quiet and respectful of the dancers inside the classroom. If they cannot be quiet, we kindly ask that you wait in your vehicle for your dancer to be
finished with class.
Students MUST come to class properly dressed: Black leotard (no skirt) pink tights, hip alignment belts, black tap shoes, pink ballet slippers,tan
studio jazz shoes. Modern and Jazz-may wear SOLID black jazz pants with leotard and tights. Hair securely in a tight bun for all classes. No jewelry allowed, with
the exception of small earrings. Male Dancers: black dance pants/white shirt/black tap ballet and/or jazz shoe
Dancers MUST be properly covered when entering and exiting the building. No student allowed to leave the building in dancewear only.
NO street shoes allowed in the dance rooms at any time. Dancers must take off shoes before entering the dance rooms. All tap shoes must be checked for loose screws
before starting class and adjust if needed
DO NOT wear dance shoes outside-EVER. Doing so will compromise the shoe, our floors. Instructors may ask you to purchase NEW dance shoes
if worn outside.
All dancers must curtsy/bow when entering and exiting the dance rooms
All dancers will practice kindness to other dancers. We will NOT tolerate rude, or unkind behavior of any sort.
Students should always use respect to teachers and authority.
Arrive and be prepared for class priorto class beginning. Students that are 10 minutes late to class will be asked
to sit and watch
NO FOOD/DRINKS ALLOWED IN ENTIRE FACILITY (including parents)
Students MUST use restroom prior to dance class
Studio follows Mooresville Graded School District for weather closings ONLY
All studio information will be distributed via email or website, please constantly check emails and website to be up to date
