Dance with us at Lake City Preschool

Registration begins October 25,2023

Miss Charity’s Shuffles and Chaines Dance Academy, a staple in the Mooresville Community for the past 19 years, will be offereing an exciting new mobile dance and creative movement program to the students of Lake City Preschool.

Our mobile program is a wonderful introduction to the arts and world of dance for girls AND boys ages 3 and up. With parents struggling getting children to and from activities, this would be a fantastic option for the busy family.

Students will be encouraged to use their imagination through storytelling utilzing basic dance movements geared for the preschooler learned during their class time. This is a 45 minute class that will meet on Wednesdays following their school day from 12:15-12:55.

We will be offering two sessions for the 2023-24 school year. Classes will max at 13 student maximum. Register Early.

No Registration Fee
ages 3+ (students of LCP only)
All classes held at Lake City Church
Dress Code: movement friendly attire (anything from leotards and ballet slippers to play clothes and socks)
Mini performance for dancers enrolled in Winter/Spring Session
Tuition will be drawn the week prior to session beginning.

Nutcracker Christmas Dance Party Mini Session:

Nutcracker Christmas mini dance session. Students of Lake City Preschool (ages 3+) will be introduced to the world of dance and creative movement in this three part Nutcracker experience. Dancers will explore the story of The Nutcracker and the dances that make it a Christmas Ballet tradition. At the final class, dancers will celebrate all they have learned with a special dance party! Class meets at Lake City Preschool on Wednesdays 12:15-12:55 on November 15, 29, and December 6. No class the week of Thanksgiving. Cost: $37

Winter/Spring 2024 Dance Session:

Join us as we partner with Lake City Preschool for a winter/spring dance session. Students of Lake City Preschool (ages 3+) will be introduced to the world of dance and creative movement in this 12 week dance class. Dancers will explore ballet and creative movement through imagery and storytelling. At the end of the 12 weeks, dancers will share what they have learned with family and friends. Class meets at Lake City Preschool on Wednesdays 12:15-12:55 from January 17-April 10. No class the week of March 29 (closed for Spring Break). Cost: $167/12 weeks
